The tales of Beatrix Potter’s Peter Rabbit and friends have charmed and entertained children for generations. Fans of the hit children’s animation series can now enjoy a special collection of tales in time for the festive season. Peter Rabbit’s Christmas Tale DVD is released by Abbey Home Media and is a perfect seasonal gift idea.

Another good week on the scales with a 1.2lb loss - that is 5.2lb over 2 weeks which I am more than happy with. 

On the exercise front I did not have a great week. I have been suffering badly with my muscles. Since my first daughter's birth nearly 5 years ago I have suffered with Pelvic Floor Dysfunction and I've relapsed into severe pelvic spasms this week. This tension is caused by the pelvic floor being triggered into spasm then unable to relax which causes more tension and spasms perpetuating a cycle which is hard to break. As a result I was not able to exercise as planned and spent most of the week just getting through the day!

This week I have planned some relaxation sessions through my Yoogaia membership. In particular Yogic Sleep looks like a good class to help me try and 'switch off' my pelvic floor. Wish me luck!

I have recently joined another book club with some of the mums from school. Elizabeth is Missing by Emma Healey was our first club read.

Maud is confused. More than confused. Her short term memory is failing her and she knows she has forgotten something important but can't remember what. The notes in her pocket give her clues but how can you solve a mystery when you can't remember eating toast for breakfast? When her best friend Elizabeth goes missing Maud sets out to find her, but in the process awakens memories of another disappearance which has haunted her for years. The past is very much alive.

Oh dear. Looks like Little I has inherited my eye for bling!

Last week I started my mission to lose half a stone before Christmas. After a week of hammering my soup maker and shunning pretty much all white carbs I am happy to report a 4lb weight loss! I am super excited and eager to keep going.
