I got asked yesterday what I want for Christmas. A simple question but I was stopped in my tracks. I've been so busy planning my Christmas shopping and putting together a great gift guide to share with you all later on this week I haven't even thought what I would like to find waiting for me under the tree. Thanks to Debenhams fab Christmas range there was only one online store I needed to browse to pull together my list!
So Santa, I know I am a little old to qualify but if you can make an exception this once (because I've been very good), here is my ultimate Christmas Wishlist...

Sterilising is a super important part of looking after you baby during the first year. If you are bottle feeding you need to sterilise your baby's bottles and teats Breastfeeding mums don't need to sterilise their bodies thank goodness! But you do need to sterilise all their breastfeeding equipment such as pump parts and any bottles they are storing expressed milk. The Milton Solo Travel Steriliser is a really nifty invention which helps make life with a newborn that much simpler, in fact it is so good it made into my breast feeding essentials post.
What is sterilising? Sterilising is a special way of cleaning your baby’s feeding equipment including bottles, teats and breast pumps to ensure they are completely free from harmful germs that can make your baby ill. During the first 12 months your baby’s immune system is still developing which means they are more vulnerable to germs than older children and adults. Common problems are tummy upsets (gastroenteritis), often caused by bacteria breeding in the milk or food traces left in bottles, teats and pumps, and oral thrush. We are a big family and every week it seems to be someone's birthday, I am continually writing cards and wrapping presents and let's not even mention all the school parties the kids get invited to. Now it is getting considerably harder to keep on top of the birthday list and I'm always dashing around at the last minute for cards and wrapping paper. And yes, we have resorted to Christmas paper from the loft at desperate times! As you can imagine news that Hallmark cards are starting a range of new products in our local Tesco Sandhurst store was brilliant news for me. I can now easily pick up all the birthday supplies I need with my weekly shop.
When Olivia Brooke's Husband disappears with her two children she is convinced she will never see any of them again. After all this is not the first time someone she loves has disappeared without a trace. Fast forward two years and this time Olivia and the kids have disappeared. Her bag is in the kitchen, car in the garage but they are gone. And bizarrely every photograph of the family has been removed from the house and computers. Detective Tom Douglas is called in to investigate the disappearance and soon finds more questions than answers. Is Oliva's Husband hiding something or is he an innocent party as confused as the rest? And if so where are Olivia and the children?
A few years back, in fact right at the beginning of my blog, we tried HelloFresh recipe delivery service and liked the concept but weren't 100% sure about the recipes. Fast forward three years and a lot has changed for us; we have another head at the dinner table, I'm working freelance from home juggling the school runs and Husband is commuting up to Central London every day. HelloFresh got in touch and asked us to try them again and I thought is was a great idea to see how the years have changed them and (excuse the spoiler) it's definitely for the better.
Last week we were having fun with the Halloween craft kits in our latest Baker Ross blogger club delivery. This week we have been celebrating the arrival of Autumn, it is such a beautful month with leaves turning stunning shades of red and bright, crisp mornings. The Baker Ross Autumn craft range is, as usual, brilliant. We were sent Owl Jewel Decorations (£3.49 for 4), Autumn Cross Stitch Bookmarks (£2.75 for 4) and Leaf Sand Art Decorations (£3.49 for 5).
