Back to reality these past few weeks and I've realised I never shared with you the TV shows I was watching over December! We'll blame the Christmas madness for the oversight and make this a bumper edition of box set treats. Luther (Series 1-5) - Netflix & BBC iPlayer I spent the weeks leading up to Christmas educating Husband in the ways of John Luther. He had always refused to watch the series as he isn't an Idris Elba fan, but with my excitement about series 5 premiering on New Year's Day he succumbed. Needless to say he has been converted. Series 5 certainly lived up to my expectations and I'm now in withdrawal. If you haven't seen Luther you are missing out! You can watch every Luther series at the moment on iPlayer. YOU (Series 1) - Netflix I highly recommend you read the book YOU by Caroline Kepnes (you can find my book review here) before you watch this series but if you have read it I highly recommend checking out the new Netflix series. It makes the protagonist Joe a little more palatable than the book but it is just as riveting which you'd hope with Kepnes as a Exec Producer. Bird Box - Netflix Not a series but a Netflix Original movie. Set 5yrs after a mysterious supernatural force decimates the world's population a woman attempts to get her children to safely down a perilous river - completely blindfolded. There has been a lot of buzz about this film and I think it lives up to the hype. I was on the edge of my seat the whole way through, with a pillow half over my face at times, and Sandra Bullock's acting was superb. Riverdale (Series 1&2) - Netflix This is my latest guilty pleasure show which provides much needed relief from the real world! Yes, it is silly and the story line is completely crazy but it's fun and it is easy to watch in the background while I am working on PTA bank statements. How to Get Away with Murder (Series 4) - Netflix My last week of work before the kids broke up for Christmas was a killer. I spent hours editing over 100 product photographs for a client and I watched the whole of series 4 of How to Get Away with Murder in the background. In one week. It was extreme but I got through it! Like all the previous series it was utterly ludicrous with a plot I could pick apart all night but I won't because it has it's moments and it randomly had a cross over episode with Scandal which reminded me I still have Series 7 of that show to watch...
What did you watch over Christmas? Do you have any recommendations for 2019 viewing?

I love a good series and we tend to binge watch things. We tried Luther but just couldn't get into it as just seemed a bit odd!
