Surprise!

This week my Grandad turns 80 years young. He is a superstar and one of the kindest, most generous people I have ever met. On Saturday we threw him a surprise party and I was in charge of the cake and the event photography.

It was a little daunting as I've never taken photographs with a 'proper' external flash before and the lighting at the venue was really yellow but I read loads of tutorials about how to bounce the light off the ceiling and managed to get some really great shots. I'm now running them all though some Lightroom presets to make the images look more professional.
