Enter the Beldray Cordless Quick Vac Light - a space saving light cordless vacuum which has an RRP of £199 but is currently an absolute bargain at just £55 from your local Wilko store.

But is it any good? Well read on for our full review...

It has become common in recent years to see high-profile fashion designers turn their stylish eyes to furniture and home décor. For the fashion-conscious, the opportunity to incorporate their favourite designers into the rest of their interior design is a great way to enjoy a more aligned lifestyle. Indeed, it is no longer unusual to see collaborations between high-end fashion designer and homeware brands – with so called ‘designer décor’ commanding mind-boggling prices.

But, of course, it’s not just luxury manufacturers; there’s a growing trend for furnishing homes in the same sorts of designs and materials that you might wear out, with businesses offering everything from chairs made in custom fabrics to pop-art themed wardrobes, and much more.

Here we take a look at how the worlds of furniture and fashion have merged, and examine some of the amazing ways that homeowners are decorating their properties. After reading below, to see these designs be created into pieces of art in homes, you should check out some work from interior designers such as Helen Coulston.

5 expensive home decor tasks that you can actually do yourself blog post title with image of screwdriver behind
We all like to live in a nice home. The only problem is that keeping it looking good can cost a lot of money, especially if you have to call in a professional to get the job done. Fortunately, some of the jobs you would have had to pay a tradesperson to do are now relatively easy enough to have a go at yourself. The availability of modern building materials and new tools has made what were complex skilled tasks super easy.

When planning DIY upgrades it’s important to have the right protective gear on hand, especially for tasks like sanding, painting, or cutting materials. High-quality eye protection is high on the priority list and if you're a glasses wearer like me, prescription safety goggles make these projects both safer and far more comfortable than wearing googles over glasses, ensuring you can tackle home improvements with confidence.

Here are just a few examples of DIY you can try out in your own home.

Before the kids I would regularly treat myself to some beautiful blooms from my local florist to create a stunning design for my home but these days it is hard to find the time visit a proper florist, so my flower arranging tends to stop at plonking a sub standard bunch from the supermarket into a vase. I was lucky enough to receive an early Christmas present earlier this month from flower subscription box FlowerBe who use their 20 years experience in artisan floristry to curate exquisite selections of seasonal flowers delivered to your door each both for your to arrange. Humans and fire have a relationship going back beyond most people’s comprehension. This love affair has not always been a good one, fire has lifted the human race out of early foraging, but it has also killed millions and been largely taken for granted somewhere in between. But in saying all that having a real fire in our homes is something most people seem to desire. Whether it’s a visit to a friends house who has a fire blazing on a cold winters day, perhaps a holiday cottage stay or just an innate wish to have a fire the drive is there for a lot of people.

However, it is not as simple as just “getting a fire” and this is often what stops people going through with it. Surrey Fireplace experts Wakefords in Woking  said “the popularity of fires and burners just goes up and up but with it come the pitfalls of getting the wrong fire and many other issues.”   Costs, where to put it, chimneys, types of fires, surrounds and wood storage are all factors that need to be considered so here are some top tips on how to choose a fire and what the reality of having one is like.
