5 Ways to Relax

I have been so overwhelmed with work and our house move lately I've been struggling to find time to switch off and relax. So I've decided to take a moment and sit back and think about the ways I enjoy relaxing and make sure I fit at least one of these into every single day. And I'm sharing 5 of them to inspire you to carve out some 'me time'.

Reading

My favourite way to relax is to get lost in a good book. Assuming I'm not up working until the crack of dawn I always read a chapter or two of my latest book last thing at night before I fall asleep. I'm all about fiction which allows me to escape to another world away from the day to day routines of life.

Baking

There is something very calming about mixing, shaping, baking and decorating. In particular I love cake decorating and making sugar paste flowers. Creating something delicious and beautiful is quite magical. If you are new to baking try some easy cookies to start you off

Art

I've always love to draw and paint but these days I find it super hard to find any time to set myself up for a session. So a few years back I was bought an adult colouring book which makes it super easy to just sit down and enjoying blending colours for a little while. It is amazingly meditative Then you can simply pop it away to finish off later.

Walking

I've only recently discovered walking as I was always a jump in the car and get somewhere quickly kind of girl. But the school run has changed all of that. The hour I spend out of the house in the fresh air twice a day is like pressing the reset button. I just stop and enjoy being out of my work and home environment.

Friends

And probably the most fun way to relax is to meet up with my best friends. We are more about tea and cake these days over gin and dancing (well, perhaps still the gin) but if anything can make me smile and forget about work for a while then they can.

I hope my favourite ways to relax have inspired you to think about how you can take a break each day, even just for a few minutes. I'd love to hear your favourite ways to relax!

Baking is my go-to relaxation method these days (which is good seeing as I am a food blogger). There's just something so cathartic about losing yourself in making something! However, I seriously wish I had more time to read as I miss it so much! Great tips x

Love all of these ideas - I just wish I had more time to do them! I have recently taught myself how to knit, so I've been enjoying doing that :)

I also relax when i bake , especially when my daughter wants to help me in the kitchen - this always result in a lot of mess - but amount of laughter we have together its worth it :)

Reading is my favourite way to relax but I hate being interrupted and I never seem to get the time these days. I really need to try and carve out some time. Maybe I should book a hotel.... Lovely post. X

I also like to draw but don't get the chance just lately. I have quite a few colouring books too :) x

I love all these ideas. As a mother of two young children I never get the time though.

I find reading, walking and baking a great way to relax, One gets too tied up with responsibilities sometimes that they forget to unwind. Thanks for the amazing reminders..

I hope the move is not too stressful, we moved last year and I know how much hard work and mentally draining it can be. x

I love all these ways of relaxing. Not sure I have a favourite - depends on my mood. And the weather.

This spiritual caster known as Lord Krish is really great in helping you get your ex back and making your infertility cured. I am happy to be one of the people to publish about him on the internet as a trusted and reliable spell caster. I am Lorraine Davis from Michigan, USA. Problems began to happen in my marriage after the 4th year of marriage and my husband began to cheat and sleep with other women because I was infertile and was not able to bear him a child. I contacted Lord Krish after reading comments on google and youtube about how he has been helping people and contacted his email: [email protected] to communicate with him and we spoke on Whats-App too. It's been more than a year now and I am happy to write about my encounter with him. Within 2 days of contact, my husband came home and apologised to me for his behaviour and pleaded with me to forgive him. Before I knew it, I received the natural fertility herbal cure from the UPS which he sent to me and I became fertile. I conceived and gave birth to twin girls which made me very happy. As a result, my husband throughout my trimester periods, loved me even more. How grateful I am to be happy in my relationship. Contact Lord Krish through email at [email protected] if you are passing through any problem to help you and you will be glad you did
