The Raw Truth for Mums and Dads whose kids have eczema

Nearly half of UK parents with a child who has problematic skin, say they feel frustrated they can’t do more to help their skin condition, especially considering 30 per cent also say their little one has received unkind looks and comments from other children about their skin. A further 15 per cent of parents blame themselves for their child’s skin.
The survey, conducted among 500 parents by skincare brand Cetraben, discovered that a third of them say the most difficult element of managing their child’s condition is the continual change in seasons and temperature triggering flare-ups – a factor which is out of their control. A quarter of parents say their children finds it especially difficult to sleep well with their problematic skin during the winter due to the central heating and thicker duvets aggravating it.

  • More than 1 in 10 (14.80%) parents blame themselves for their children’s skin condition according a recent survey by Cetraben.
  • 16 % of parents say their child has received unkind comments about their skin condition from their siblings.
  • Two thirds of parents report a lack of sleep due to their children’s skin conditions.

Drawing on their successful prescription heritage, Cetraben Cream and Lotion offer effective and specialist skincare that work by re-hydrating and protecting skin from irritants. Cetraben Cream and Lotion both contain light liquid paraffin, white soft paraffin and glycerine. The exact balance of these three simple ingredients, working in harmony with the skin, is the secret that has made Cetraben so popular with users Cetraben is also Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SLS) and paraben free and comes in user friendly and handy 50 ml size pump packs.

My daughter has had it since birth. It was linked to her having a milk allergy. She is now over her milk allergy but still has flare ups if we use different washing powder or certain bubbles in the bath.
