It does not matter whether you are 18 or 58-years-old, studying is never easy. However, when you add children to the mix, it becomes ten times more difficult. Whenever you want to sit down for a minute and start a new chapter in your textbook, you hear the words “mum” and before you know it, an hour has passed. It can be incredibly frustrating; leading most parents to assume that studying simply is not possible when their children are young. However, it can work, and here are some tips to help you.

Start by picking a course wisely

There is only one place to begin, and this is with your course selection. You need to select a course that is going to fit in with your existing life. This should not be as difficult as it once was because there are now many different study options available, including online courses. You can do everything from an online masters in business management to a degree in foreign languages online today. Plus, your quality of study does not suffer, as you will still attain the same level of degree as you would if you were going to university in person.

Organise your team effectively

You are never going to be able to achieve a degree while you have children if you do not know how to organise your time properly. This is a more challenging skill than a lot of people realise. It is not only about figuring out when you have those free moments to do some studying, but it is also about optimising the time you have available to you. You need to make sure that you tackle the most difficult subjects and those that require your greatest level of attention while your children aren’t around. You can then listen to audio notes on easier subjects while your children watch a DVD, for example

Be flexible with your study approach

There are so many different types of revision methods that are available today, so make the most of them. This is something that was touched upon earlier when we suggested listening to audio notes while your children are watching a DVD. It is all about finding ways to study that fit in with what your children are doing so that you can maximise your time. This means your children won’t feel left out, but you can still tick off your study goals.

Hopefully, with the three tips that have been mentioned above, you now feel more prepared and inspired to become the superwoman that you are and study while also having children. Yes, there is no denying that there are going to be times when this is incredibly difficult. Nevertheless, by organising your time and embracing the flexibility that is available to you these days, you should be able to achieve study success.

Great tips for someone considering a course. I don't think I would do a full degree while my son is small as I know if struggle fitting everything in. But a different type of course that was shorter might work for me.

Some good advice here. I’ve been toying with the idea of doing a course but with no childcare I’m thinking it’s not possible! Think a shorter and flexible course might be more suitable!

I found studying very hard when I was 18 let alone with 3 children, but your tips are fantastic. When their at school it would be much easier to keep on top of it.

I've just done my L4 nvq at home. It was good but really hard to fit it in around a 4yr old. Thanks for the tips

This spiritual caster known as Lord Krish is really great in helping you get your ex back and making your infertility cured. I am happy to be one of the people to publish about him on the internet as a trusted and reliable spell caster. I am Lorraine Davis from Michigan, USA. Problems began to happen in my marriage after the 4th year of marriage and my husband began to cheat and sleep with other women because I was infertile and was not able to bear him a child. I contacted Lord Krish after reading comments on google and YouTube about how he has been helping people and contacted his email: [email protected] to communicate with him and we spoke on Whats-App too. It's been more than a year now and I am happy to write about my encounter with him. Within 2 days of contact, my husband came home and apologized to me for his behavior and pleaded with me to forgive him. Before I knew it, I received the natural fertility herbal cure from the UPS which he sent to me and I became fertile. I conceived and gave birth to twin girls which made me very happy. As a result, my husband throughout my trimester periods, loved me even more. How grateful I am to be happy in my relationship. Contact Lord Krish through email at [email protected] if you are passing through any problem to help you and you will be glad you did
