Sleepy babies (The ordinary moments)

There is nothing better than your baby asleep in your arms. When Little E was born I didn't put her down. She slept on me all day and I reluctantly released her to the Moses basket next to my bed at night. Now she is three she rarely sleeps during the day unless we are out in the car but yesterday she curled up on my lap and fell into a deep, completely relaxed sleep. We were at my grandparents and I knew I'd she'd be in a shocking mood when I woke her to leave but I couldn't resist feeling her slow, deep breathing and the weight of her in my arms for an hour.

Nothing beats sleepy cuddles no matter how old my baby is.
