Husband was sent on a very special mission on my behalf last month. It was a tough to find someone with the relevant experience to review Prime Burger, Euston but with his vast experience of burger restaurants he was the man for the job! The restaurant is situated on the upper mezzanine of Euston train station looking out onto the concourse. Husband's office is only a few metres away from the station so he popped along in his lunch hour to sample their offerings. The restaurant is fast food style: you queue up and place your order and are given a little electronic device which buzzes and lights us when your order is ready. You can eat your food at a table or take it away to enjoy in the park, at your desk or on the train home. The burgers at Prime are made from high quality grass fed forequarter and rib of British beef and cost between £6 and £10 depending on how many toppings you want. If you fancy pushing the boat out you can have truffle on your burger! If you don't want beef there are chicken and veggie options available. Husband ordered the Guv'nor burger which is a beef patty loaded with cheese, bacon, gerkins, tomato, lettuce, onion and mayo, priced £8.25. For an extra £3.50 you can make your burger a meal by adding regular fries and a drink. Husband upgraded to cheese and bacon fries (£4.50) and added a side of onion strings (£2.75) If you have room for a dessert Prime offer Frozen Custard instead of traditional ice cream with 'concrete mixers such as Oreos and Mars Bars. That sounds amazing to me but Husband is all about savoury over sweet so he didn't give it a try (boo!). Prime haven't forgotten about the kids, little ones can choose from a children's menu costing around £6 for burger, fries and a drink. So what did Husband think? The service was great, quick and easy with the bleeper system. The burger was really good. Tasty and juicy with a good amount of topping. The salad looked super fresh and inviting. Not the best he has ever had but very good for the price. The fries were a bit disappointing as they were a little dry but the onion strings were excellent and complemented the burger well (you can get them as a burger topping too). So overall he was pleased and would certainly visit again. Perfect for catching a quick bite to eat after working late in the office. You can find Prime Burger restaurants Euston and St Pancreas Stations. You can order online for super quick collection. Husband received this meal free of charge but all opinions are his own

Reading this before breakfast definitely a bad idea. Looks delicious. I no want one - return to Euston is only £15. Perfectly justified I think...
