Review: Moony Japanese Nappies

The littlest member of the family, two year old, Little I, has been road testing a new import to the UK market; Japanese Moony nappies from japanesenappies.co.uk

When they arrived I got a surprise, the thin nappies are actually pull up pants. Perfect for Little I who is super independent and will be potty training soon. She loved them immediately and insisted on wearing her 'big girl pants' instead of her standard nappies.

Little I is currently weighing just over 13kgs so were sent size Large which is suitable for babies weighing 12-17kg. We tested the full bag of 38 nappy pants over 2 weeks, day and night. Here's what we liked ...
  • Super stretchy elastic around the legs and waist which easily stretch providing full range of movement while keeping a snug fit.
  • Wetness indicator on the bum. The double lines will change to blue from yellow once the nappy gets wet. This features on all sizes.
  • The nappy's inner lining is silky soft organic cotton and suitable for babies with very sensitive skin.
  • The outer nappy is very soft and the flexible material moulds to the shape of baby very well.
  • The specially designed microporous material can hold up to 12hrs of wetness while keeping baby's skin dry. We did not have one leak, even when pushing the nappy to 13 or 14hrs overnight.
  • The back of the nappy has a handy sticky tab so you can roll it up for disposal.
  • Big sister Little E liked the pink and orange colour but to be honest the Disney Baby Winnie the Pooh designs aren't that clear.

So these seem like the perfect pull up nappies. What's the catch? Well simply, the price. 38 Moony nappies retail at £25.99 which is a whopping 68p per nappy! To give you an idea of how that compares Pampers are roughly 15-20p each and the supermarket brands are around 10p each. I simply can't afford them! But if I could then I would because they are brilliant nappies and Little I definitely prefers them over the others and since using the supermarket brand of pull up pants we have had two leaks. If your baby has sensitive skin and suffers with nappy rash then definitely consider swallowing the cost and giving them a try.

I was sent this pack of nappies to review but all opinions are my own.

Infertility is not something any woman is supposed to go through in life. I will therefore recommend that you read this. I'm Sarah Weston. I'm from Wisconsin, USA. Married for 11 years with infertility, my infertility journey has ended with the help of Lord Krish Spiritual. I have joined many infertility journey blogs online, and did IVF for 2 years. I searched for solutions to my problem and never relented which has helped me to find the right connection to help me cure this devastating problem. As a patient of endometriosis stage 3, it was really difficult to have a child but with the help of Lord Krish, I got fertile and conceived within days of the herbal treatment which he sent to me through DHL and before I knew it, my womb was opened and I conceived and was finally pregnant with twins babies. I never believed it was possible after 11 years of marriage. I gave birth to twins, Dale and Diane. I want to say thank you to Lord Krish and to everyone who has helped me both mentally and emotionally through this journey. Lord Krish solved my problem for me and I promised him to manifest his work to other people and friends. His Email to reach out to him is ([email protected])
