Last week a big box arrived from kid's craft suppliers Baker Ross. Inside was a veritable feast of arts and crafts materials for Little E to try out. This morning she was given free reign to choose an activity from the box. After much deliberation she decided on a foam treasure chest kit. As expected Little E chose to build the pink chest. The kit is designed for slightly older children (the website says 5yrs+) so I helped her construct the chest which was very easy as it slots together like a jigsaw. Little E then had free reign to decorate with the sticky back foam shapes. The only thing we didn't do there and then was stick the sequins on as Little E wanted to play with it straight away. The result looked great and Little E was really pleased with it. The instruction sheet has become her treasure map and the foam leftovers the treasure! This is a great little kit and fantastic value for money as we still have another chest to make another day! Treadure chest foam lots (contains two treasure chests) £2.95 from Baker Ross This post is linked to the #letkidsbekids, #creativechallenge and #minicreations linkys over on twitter. This kit was sent to review free of charge but all opinions are our own.

Grace says - I think this is so pretty and would love to have a go at this. It's such a 'bargain' (my new word for everything at the moment) I'm gonna have to tell Mummy about this!
