Personal Christmas Gifts That Only Take Minutes to Buy

With Christmas coming up on us fast, I know that many of you (like me) are quietly driving yourself crazy trying to come up with gift ideas. Of course, you want your gift to be special, but let's face it we don't necessarily have much time to spend browsing to find something unique for each person. Fortunately, there are ways to buy truly personalized presents for everyone without having to spend a lot of time shopping.

Canvas prints

For friends and family members, photo-based gifts are a great idea. All you need to do is to go through your phone while watching TV and pick out a few that you like. Then just spend a few minutes getting each of them turned into fantastic gifts by a firm like Hello Canvas. If you are struggling to choose just one photo, do not worry because you can have them produce a collage print for you instead. They look great practically anywhere, so make very good gifts.

Other photo gifts

Hello Canvas also sells personalised phone cases. All you need to do is to send them the print, choose the appropriate smartphone model and leave the rest to them. Other items can also be personalised too using your favourite photos. There are services out there that enable you to have unique calendars, mugs, cushions and much more. Remember, when using these services you do not necessarily have to use your favourite holiday snaps. Any image can be used in this way. So, potentially you could take a cheeky snap of your friend´s kitchen blind and use that picture to order them a set of mugs to match!

Engraved gifts

For some people, engraved gifts are an excellent idea. Again, there are plenty to choose from. It could be as simple as a key ring or as elaborate as a gold bangle engraved with a loving message. All you need to do is to go online and choose something suitable. Another alternative is to speak to your local jeweller or shoe repairer. Both of these businesses may offer basic engraving services, which gives you the option to buy something you like and have it engraved locally.

Tailored clothes

We all like to look our best, which is why we try to buy clothes that fit well. These days, it is possible to buy tailored clothes from online tailors at a very affordable price. Most offer you the option to buy a friend or family member a gift voucher that they can then use to order themselves a tailored item. This is great for my Husband who loves a nicely fitted shirt. You can read more about how these online tailors work and how to choose a good one by clicking this link.

Experience days

Provided you have a good idea of the things that interest your friends and family, experience days make fantastic gifts. When choosing one, make sure that everything they need is included in the price. It would be a shame to give a friend who lives on a tight budget a voucher for a hot air balloon trip that does not launch locally. They will love the gift, but if they cannot afford to travel to the launch site their joy could easily change to disappointment.

I totally agree that photo gifts are a wonderful idea. I was only making some last night.

We always give photo calendars to all grandparents and godparents. They look forward to them each year!
