I was told by my late gran, to only wash my face or that of the children in cold water and pat dry, she had beautiful skin right up till she passed at 94 years another thing she told me to do when my children were babies and 1 had bad nappy rash shake some powdered starch into her night nappies, I done it at 1st so as to not offend her and was astonished when I took the nappy off all the redness and soreness had nearly gone I persevered with it and it cleared up. I know several people who have since used this and found it works

When it comes to bath time, try to make sure the bath water is just warm, not too hot. Hot water can aggravate a child's delicate skin.
