Because of this I am constantly searching for the perfect nightwear. I'm fed up with cheap pyjamas which shrink in the wash and slowly get shorter and shorter until they are cropped but bizarrely seem to get wider and wider. I flatly refuse to wear anything except 100% cotton so my skin can breathe even on the hottest nights. I've worked my way through all the high street brands but recently I have come across David Nieper and my quest for the perfect pyjamas could finally be over.
Back when I was pregnant I visited Tiffany Rose maternity wear and was really impressed with how they focused on designing and manufacturing all their maternity clothes in Britain. David Napier takes this one step further by designing, making and selling all its clothes from its base in Derbyshire. Skilled seamstresses make the clothes from scratch to an exceptionally high standard. And they do more than just pyjamas, I have my eye on a pure silk kaftan for next summer.
So my perfect pair of pyjamas have been found. They aren't the cheapest but they are certainly are top quality and will last a lot longer than cheap high street offerings. Now I just need to get myself seven pairs!
