My Favourite Tunes: Part One

People often tell me my music taste is eclectic and I agree because I really do like a bit of everything! I love the shuffle setting on my ipod, you take it for granted but things have moved on a bit since my 1980's Walkman days when the best thing ever was the auto-rewind, and it is great to be surprised with a track from your collection you haven't heard for ages.

Having the kids means I spend more time listening to the theme tune from Balamory than my own tracks, so I have decided to start a blog series cataloguing my favourite tunes to re-awaken my music soul. There are songs which remind me of music my parents used to play when I was growing up, boy bands I loved as a teenager, club tunes I danced to in my twenties and everything in between. Here's the first 10 in no particular order - I hope you find some gems in there which will become your favourites too!

Iris - Goo Goo Dolls

'When everything's made to be broken, I just want you to know who I am'

Yeah - Usher

'She asked for one more dance and I'm Like yeah, how the hell am I supposed to leave?'

Everlong - Foo Fighters

'The only thing I'll ever ask of you, You gotta promise not to stop when I say when'

Yellow - Coldplay

'For you I'd bleed myself dry'

I'm With You - Avril Lavigne

'Take me by the hand, take me somewhere new'

Wild World - Cat Stevens

'Now that I've lost everything to you, You say you want to start something new'

Changes - David Bowie

'Time may change me, but I can't trace time'

Sleeping With the Lights On - Busted -

'I feel her slipping through my fingers'

Photograph - Ed Sheeran

'So you can keep me, inside the pocket of your ripped jeans'

Sex on Fire - Kings of Leon

'But it's not forever, it's just tonight'

I think music like reading is one of those things we really have to hold onto when we get caught up with the demands of parenting. Both can be therapeutic too. #TwinklyTuesday

Totally with you on most of those tunes. I love the first and last ones and who doesn't love Ed Sheeran (apart from my boyfriend) #BloggerClubUK

I love all of these songs, we must have similar tastes! Iris is one of my all time favourite songs and for some reason the line "you bleed just to know you're alive" always gives me goosebumps

Music is essential for lifting moods and making everything better! Sadly my taste in music isn't always appreciated by the other members of my household. I also have very eclectic taste, but I would find it impossible to make a list of just 10 songs! There are too many truly great ones. #TwinklyTuesday

This spiritual caster known as Lord Krish is really great in helping you get your ex back and making your infertility cured. I am happy to be one of the people to publish about him on the internet as a trusted and reliable spell caster. I am Lorraine Davis from Michigan, USA. Problems began to happen in my marriage after the 4th year of marriage and my husband began to cheat and sleep with other women because I was infertile and was not able to bear him a child. I contacted Lord Krish after reading comments on google and youtube about how he has been helping people and contacted his email: [email protected] to communicate with him and we spoke on Whats-App too. It's been more than a year now and I am happy to write about my encounter with him. Within 2 days of contact, my husband came home and apologized to me for his behavior and pleaded with me to forgive him. Before I knew it, I received the natural fertility herbal cure from the UPS which he sent to me and I became fertile. I conceived and gave birth to twin girls which made me very happy. As a result, my husband throughout my trimester periods, loved me even more. How grateful I am to be happy in my relationship. Contact Lord Krish through email at [email protected] if you are passing through any problem to help you and you will be glad you did
