 This household is a huge Melissa & Doug fan. Both my girls have grown up playing with their exceptional range of children’s toys. Little I has been invited to join the Melissa & Doug play panel - whoop whoop! To say she is excited would be an understatement! Here’s what she thought of her first play panel delivery (and big sister E just had to join in the fun)...  Melissa & Doug Wooden Pizza Set - £15
Little I's favourite food is pizza so this toy was bound to be a hit. This sturdy wooden pizza set has 6 sliceable pieces and a service tray with a pizza cutter, spatula, and over 50 toppings that store neatly in a wooden box. Both the kids were soon busy creating their own toppings and having a great time pretend play. The best thing though was how easy it is to use the pizza to teach fractions! Fun and education - win win!
Melissa & Doug Food Groups - £15
The food groups set was soon added to the pizza toy to provide additional menu items - milk to drink, bananas and watermelon for pudding! The set comprises of 4 wooden crates which allow the kids to sort the food into different food groups. They can set up a mini shop or add healthy foods to a play kitchen. The quality of the wooden food is amazing, far better than the rubbish plastic stuff you get.  Melissa & Doug Examine and Treat Pet Vet Play Set - £19.99
My kids are animal mad and couldn't wait to play with this cute vet set. It's actually one of the best vet sets I've ever seen. You get 2 plush animals - dog and cat - and a whole host of equipment to help diagnose and treat them - including a collar to stop them scratching. The kids delved straight in taking one animal each and they were absorbed for an hour. Both now want to be vets!  Melissa & Doug didn't let us down and the toys we reviewed got a huge thumbs up!
