There's just something about the way a great piece of jewellery can elevate an outfit and make you feel super special. As someone who has always had a deep appreciation for the beauty and intricacy of jewellery (and an exceptionally large collection of statement and classic pieces), I was thrilled to have the opportunity to try out a selection of beautiful pieces from Meideya Jewelry, a woman-owned business selling sustainable, high quality jewellery.
From earrings to hair accessories, there really is something for every taste in the Meideya collection, all at reasonable prices too. I chose two items to review; a ring and a bangle.

The Striped Mother of Pearl ring immediately caught my eye because it is just so gorgeously bold!  I dare you not to love this ring!

Made from 18ct gold plated stainless steel, the quality is simply superb with the ring feeling reassuringly weighty without being uncomfortable on the finger. The ring is also waterproof and anti tarnish, but be careful as Mother of Pearl can dull if you get it repeatedly wet.

The sizing of Meideya's rings match US sizing, so each size covers 2 UK sizes. If in doubt size down as this ring is relatively heavy so you want a snug fit to stop it slipping down your finger.

Presented in a white presentation box it would make a stunning gift. Perfect for anyone who loves a statement piece. It is a bargain at £39.77
My second item is more delicate but equally special. The Ollie Solitaire bangle is a timeless style which will never date and would look fabulous when you are dressed up to the nines but just as beautiful paired with a more casual style.

Also 18k gold plated on a stainless steel base, the Ollie Solitaire bangle comes it 2 widths: 4mm or 6mm. I have the wider 6mm version but these bracelets would look great worn together with the different widths stacked.

I have relatively small hands so sometime bangles can be too big but this is a great fit. There is a clasp on the bracelet so it is really easy to take on and off without dislocating a thumb (yes, i may have done that before...)

The 6mm version costs £47.07 and the thinner 4mm is slightly cheaper at £39.77. My bangle came in a little pink pouch which is great for storage to stop it rattling around against your other jewellery and getting scratched. It is also waterproof and tarnish free.

A huge thank you to Meideya for sending me these stunning pieces of jewellery to review. All opinion are my own.
