Laser Hair Removal - Not Just for Girls

When you talk about hair removal traditionally it's women who come to mind. Now I won't get started on how this is a male construct and how us girls should feel free to be as hairy (or non hairy) as we wish because today I'm actually talking about the boys - that's right male hair removal, and in particular laser hair removal for men, the holy grail of all body hair removal.
Lots of men happily embrace their body hair but equally there is a growing cohort of blokes who don't want hairy backs, chests, legs (and other nether regions) and wish to remove their surplus hairs and delight in their smooth skin. Now we all know there are loads of ways to remove unwanted hairs from shaving and tweezing to creams, waxing and epilating but who wouldn't say no to razer-free holidays, regaining those lost hours in front of the mirror with tweezers or cancelling regular waxing appointments before a hefty gym session. All this can be yours with a series of simple yet effective laser procedures that remove all the unsightly hairs right from the roots.

A big factor behind men (and women) choosing laser hair removal is that with the laser you don't experience the side effects associated with removing body hair above the skin’s surface including ingrown hairs, bumps, or rashes. Though your skin may be reddish after the laser treatment if the treatment is performed by an experienced and trained individual you should not experience the kind side effects associated with traditional hair removal.

In the laser hair removal procedure, medical-grade lasers are used to damage hair follicles and prevent regrowth. Body hair can be targeted with precision to remove just the hair you specify with perfection and care and the long lasting results will start to be visible in just a few laser sessions. Laser hair removal is a cosmetic non-surgical treatment and can be cost-effective vs a lifetime of purchasing razors or creams. Though mens' body hair is slightly thicker, denser, and stronger than us females, eight to twelve laser sessions are sufficient to reduce all your unwanted hair and to enable you to experience smooth and clear skin with a much finer, reduced regrowth. Your entire body can be safely treated with laser, including the sensitive areas and all skin and hair tone combinations can be treated.

I have experienced positive results with laser hair removal and I would definitely recommend the treatment to men and women who find regualr hair removal a faff or the side effects of traditional hair removal uncomfortable. To find out more search for a local clinic in your area and make sure you read some reviews and ensure the clinic is monitored by the Care Quality Commission or other relevant regulatory body and has experience in laser hair removal for men and in treating your hair or skin tone.

This is a collaborative post. I am not a medical professional and recommend you thoroughly research laser hair removal before proceeding with any treatment.
