A new linky started by Katy and Jenna over at two of my favourite blogs has inspired me to write about my week including the stuff I've been up to not just the kids! Out and about Miserable weather this week so we didn't make it to the park but Little E started her new gymnastic class or 'Nastics' as she calls it. She loved it and it was such a relief to find a class where they actually police the children. I'm not even allowed in the room with her! Great as I have Little I in tow to entertain. We also tried out a new fun class called Whirly Wiggle. It is a story club and each week the children go on a new imagination adventure led by the puppets Whirly and Wiggle. This week they flew up to space in their own rockets. They act, dance and sing their way through the class and at the end musical instruments come out for the final act. Definitely the best class we have ever been to and at £3.50 for a drop in session it is super reasonable and fits in with our varied routine which usually stops us from signing up to these kind of classes. Fun at home We have sheltered from the rain at home a lot this week! We've watched a few movie including The Secret of the Sword throwing me back to my childhood. I love that Little E enjoys watching the films I grow up with. Bestie came over with Little B and 3 week old Little T for the day. It was the first time the six of us have been here together and it was a lovely. I can't get enough baby cuddles and Little T makes my Little I look huge!!!! We also turned the kitchen spring clean into a lot of fun by enlisting Little E as my helper. She was great at emptying out the hard to access corner cupboards! We now have lids for all the Tupperware and a separate cupboard for all the weaning paraphernalia. Time for me Don't faint. I went to the cinema this week. Proper cinema not Saturday morning kids club! I saw Gone Girl starting Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike. I had read the book so had high hopes and it was a pretty good adaptation staying very close to the original storyline. A little too close in some parts as the slightly ridiculous elements of the book they had kept in. But overall a great night out. To make this a very extraordinary week I had a facial. Haven't had one of those since my honeymoon 6yrs ago! It was a great setup; a local beauty therapist hosts a pamper afternoon at her house for 4 or 5 friends. You have tea and cake downstairs taking it in turns to pop upstairs to the treatment room for half an hour whilst downstairs your friends look after your baby. Genius idea. We'll be back for more! My happiest moment Husband handed over stage 1 of a massive work project this week which was a big cause for celebration. Very proud of him. Next week I would like to... I want to continue the house sort out by gathering up all Little E's artwork, baby cards and other special stuff which is cluttering up the house and put it all in memory box in the loft. That way it won't be ruined and I can reclaim some of the cupboard space. I also want to get the 9-12mth baby clothes out of the loft to see what I need to get for Little I this winter. Not a lot I imagine but it is surprising what stains magically develop after 3yrs in the loft! Lastly I want to watch Homeland when the new series starts tomorrow. Exciting! Love the sound of the 'nastics class purely for the fact parents aren't allowed! G's ballet class is ruined every week by chatty mums and it drives me bonkers!!!

Oh I've been hooked on the gymnastics world championships all week, wish I had gotten into it when I was younger. Oh Homeland! I'm interested to see where this season will go.. I also recommend The Blacklist if you're looking for a new TV show! x
