Bringing Your Newborn Home? Check Your Car Tyres!

23/5/2016

It feels like a lifetime ago we were strapping our girls into the car for their first ride home. With a newborn on the way there are so many preparations underway and so many things to be taking care of; between numerous shopping sprees and getting the house in perfect order, we often tend to forget the most important part of the preparation rituals - checking the car tyres!

I can't stress enough the importance of checking your car tyres before you transport your precious newborn from the hospital to home. I remember just how nerve wracking that first journey is and any glitches would put you at great unease and discomfort. Keeping in mind the fact that tyres are the only thing connecting the car to the road, there are some basic safety checks you must carry out;
  • You don't want to be driving on illegal tyres which have insufficient tread - have your tread depth checked professionally or use the rim of a twenty pence coin, inserted into the tread, to give you an idea of how much wear is left.
  • If you are replacing your car’s tyres, you must keep in mind the fact that the front tyres, which supply the power to the tarmac on most models of car, tend to wear most quickly. You may only need to replace these ones, so why not consider moving the rear tyres to the front and fitting the newest ones at the back? This way, you can rotate your tyre configuration to keep your car balanced without replacing all four.

When replacing tyres, you must avoid part-worn and second hand tyres. Although they can seem like an absolute bargain, partly worn down tyres which have already seen many miles of usage are not entirely safe. So if you want to explore your options, check out online Point-S car tyres – they allow you to find the best price and reserve that price online without the need to turn up to see the best value tyre that happens to be in stock. All you need to do is book an appointment online with three easy steps!

Good advice - although as we had both of our kids at home we've never had this experience! #BloggerClubUK

Infertility is not something any woman is supposed to go through in life. I will therefore recommend that you read this. I'm Sarah Weston. I'm from Wisconsin, USA. Married for 11 years with infertility, my infertility journey has ended with the help of Lord Krish Spiritual. I have joined many infertility journey blogs online, and did IVF for 2 years. I searched for solutions to my problem and never relented which has helped me to find the right connection to help me cure this devastating problem. As a patient of endometriosis stage 3, it was really difficult to have a child but with the help of Lord Krish, I got fertile and conceived within days of the herbal treatment which he sent to me through DHL and before I knew it, my womb was opened and I conceived and was finally pregnant with twins babies. I never believed it was possible after 11 years of marriage. I gave birth to twins, Dale and Diane. I want to say thank you to Lord Krish and to everyone who has helped me both mentally and emotionally through this journey. Lord Krish solved my problem for me and I promised him to manifest his work to other people and friends. His Email to reach out to him is ([email protected])
