A mother's love.
A daughter's search for truth. A mystery that will not rest… Jenna Metcalf has never stopped thinking about her mother, Alice, who mysteriously disappeared after a tragic accident. Jenna searches for her mother regularly online, refusing to believe she was abandoned as a young child. She is obsessed with Alice’s old journals about her life working with elephants hoping she will find a clue which will lead her to her mother. Jenna seeks out two allies to help her. The first is Serenity Jones (who we met in the short story Where There's Smoke - read my review here) and the second is Virgil Stanhope who was originally investigating the disappearance of her mother but who is now a washed up private detective. As the trio gets closer to the truth they realise sometimes on the journey you find out more about yourself that the person you are looking for.
Those of you who have read my Where There's Smoke review know I've not read any Jodi Picoult before and I was really looking forward to continuing Serenity Jones' story after the abrupt ending in the introductory short story (It's just 99p so read it first, you won't be disappointed!). This book continued her story through Jenna's search for her missing Mum.
As I expected the writing was superb. The characters jumped off the page and you can't help but find yourself routing for them to solve the mystery of what actually occurred at the Elephant Sanctuary over a decade ago. I was kept guessing and what I thought had happened was wrong. Actually it was more that wrong. I was knocked completely sideways by the ending which was superb. I don't want to say too much, just read it and enjoy it. I have a paperback copy of Leaving Time to give away to one reader. Simply complete the Rafflecopter form below by Wednesday 13th September. T&C's apply Good luck!

My Sister's Keeper. The first of Jodi's books that I ever read and the most memorable for me although I love them all and they really give you something to think hard about.

This spiritual caster known as Lord Krish is really great in helping you get your ex back and making your infertility cured. I am happy to be one of the people to publish about him on the internet as a trusted and reliable spell caster. I am Lorraine Davis from Michigan, USA. Problems began to happen in my marriage after the 4th year of marriage and my husband began to cheat and sleep with other women because I was infertile and was not able to bear him a child. I contacted Lord Krish after reading comments on google and youtube about how he has been helping people and contacted his email: [email protected] to communicate with him and we spoke on Whats-App too. It's been more than a year now and I am happy to write about my encounter with him. Within 2 days of contact, my husband came home and apologized to me for his behavior and pleaded with me to forgive him. Before I knew it, I received the natural fertility herbal cure from the UPS which he sent to me and I became fertile. I conceived and gave birth to twin girls which made me very happy. As a result, my husband throughout my trimester periods, loved me even more. How grateful I am to be happy in my relationship. Contact Lord Krish through email at [email protected] if you are passing through any problem to help you and you will be glad you did
