An important milestone has been hit this week - Little I is giving us proper smiles! She especially likes to give them to Little E and when Daddy sings the songs of Frozen to her... Yes, you read that correctly. She has been a very serious, frowny baby up until now so it is wonderful to see her face break into a smile. Now we can drive (hooray!) we have been out and about non stop and had our first sleepover at Nanna's where Little I slept well in the Moses basket and kept to her 10pm, 2am, 6am feeding routine much to Mummy's delight. We did the visiting rounds to my Grandparents, Auntie and Brother and she also met my Step-Sister and Grandad for the first time. Packing the car for our two night stay was interesting - the pram takes up most of my boot so the Moses basket and stand plus the bed guard for Little E, the travel baby chair and our bags all had to fit around the 2 car seats! Luckily Husband didn't come as their was no room for anyone else! I have been dusting off my baby massage skills to try and help with the trapped wind she is getting now she is only pooing once every 24-48hrs and I'm surprised how much I remember. Little I seems to enjoy it and I think it is helping somewhat. The poos are still explosive and messy but luckily she absolutely loves the bath so she gets extra ones after a traumatic nappy! Feeding is still very frequent during the day and she insists on chewing my right nipple leaving me in permanent discomfort - Little E also disliked that side so she is following suit! My neck and upper back are taking a battering from the feeding position, car seat carrying and shoulder cuddles plus her ever increasing weight gain so I have made an appointment with my osteopath to try and keep it under control. It's amazing when they smile isn't it! I used baby massage too as Princess had a lot of trouble. It seemed to really help :)

I took my son to baby massage and I'm so pleased I did as it definitely helped with his wind and constipation - something my daughter never suffered from, so it was fortunate I took my son to the classes. At 19 months, I still use it from time to time, too. That is one gorgeous photo!
