I cannot believe Little I is a month old!!! It has absolutely flown by. We've had a much calmer week. Husband had most of the week off work so we were able to have some family time and get out of the house a bit. I have been practising my breastfeeding in public. It is still touch and go whether I flash a boob but we had some successful feeds and now the nipple thrush is under control the whole thing is easier. Little I still likes to feed for a long time at each sitting. Little E never drank this much so I wonder if bubba is a 'hungry baby'. I know she is getting plenty of milk because she is huge! She has grown out of two sizes of babygrow now. I can't get to baby clinic today because I can't drive yet but I suspect she is at least 8lb now if not more. I'll attempt weighing her on the bathroom scales later! She is still very refluxy and I've ended up covered in milk on many occasions. We are sleeping better and Little I actually slept for a 5hr stretch one night which was amazing but appears to be a fluke! Little E is still been getting up at the crack of dawn do we've invested in a Groclock. It is early days but we are hoping it'll help her to stay in bed until a respectable hour. To combat this early start I have been going to bed at 9pm to get an extra hour in. I've been falling asleep in front of the TV so clearly I need it! My scar is healing well despite the knot end which hasn't healed up. Instead of closing up like a zip that end appears to be healing from the inside upwards. My back has been the real issue. Since the fall down the stairs my coccyx has been killing me so I've been regularly taking ibuprofen to help with the inflammation but I know it is going to take a long time to get better which is a pain. Today marks the start of my healthy eating regime - no more snacking for me just healthy food to support the breastfeeding. I haven't plucked up the courage to weigh myself yet but I will at some point this week so I know where I am. This post is linked to the weekly #PoCoLo and #binkylinky linkies each Friday on Twitter

Hi Lucy. Thanks for stopping by. A Groclock is a sleep training clock which allowed you set a time for the sun to rise on the display. You encourage your child to stay in bed until they see the sun on the clock. It is working for is so far so fingers crossed! Xx

I remember the first few days are like overwhelming for me. My son wont stop crying =( and I would cry with him. But after awhile we got to know each other and we got to be calmer.
