It has been a weird week full of ups and downs. Unfortunately we had a car accident on Friday when a van cut across our lane on a roundabout. Just Little I and me in the car and luckily it hit on the opposite side to us. Paramedics came to check Little I out before I removed her from her car seat and luckily she was absolutely fine and we avoided yet another trip to A&E. I cannot praise the paramedics enough. They were amazing and really helped calm down a panicked Mummy. It really shook me up as I have never had an accident with the kiddies on board. The next morning we were up at the crack of dawn to drive to Derbyshire for a special wedding and Little I was amazing the whole weekend. She slept every leg of the journey and was full of smiles all weekend. We showed her off at the reception and at 9pm she was fast asleep in her pram whilst we enjoyed the live band. We have had a bit of a breakthrough with bottles. After taking some milk from a bottle from Mum, Little I has now taken some from Husband. She wasn't happy but she took it. We weren't able to use bottles for the wedding at the weekend so I had to hot foot it back to the hotel for feeding but we are definitely moving in the right direction! Little I is desperate to move about. As soon as I put her on her playmat she flips over onto her tummy and attempts to crawl. She can't get anywhere yet so she gets stuck there, unable to roll back over so I have to come to the rescue. Only for her to immediately flip back over again! She is also chewing everything in sight. It must be teeth moving about in the gums. Little I is loving her activity station. She spins herself around playing with all the different toys. The difference over the week is incredible. Each day she gets stronger and more capable. She is desperate to press the lion spinner! She is the happiest, smiley little baby and hearing her start to giggle is the cutest sound in the world.
