Another week has flown by and Little I continues to develop her little personality. Separation anxiety has hit and she has begun crying and getting quite ditressed when I leave the room. It is incredibly sweet but also rather frustrating as she wants to be held by me all the time. We went to a family party at the weekend (where she wore a beautiful pink Next party dress) but she got very upset when anyone held her. Little E was never like this so it is all new. She continues to exercise on the playmat and she is nearly there with rolling. She gets her leg over but her bottom shoulder gets in the way so she can't flip completely onto her tummy. She rolls onto her side then back onto her back and ends up all over the playmat! Because she is on the move we have had to put the 4th side onto the bedside co-sleeper cot. She is still next to me but now she is completely enclosed in her cot. I miss having her lying directly next to me but I am sleeping better knowing she won't roll into me. Her grasp is also coming along and she is grabbing for toys and shaking them about now. She loves holding fabric and will cling onto her blankets and muslins. She also really enjoys watching TV and insisted on staying up to watch the Diana movie with me and my girlies at the weekend. It was the worst movie we have ever watched but Little I lasted for over an hour. Clearly the dialogue was more fascinating in baby speak. The Doctor has suggested going back on the Gaviscon as she thinks her snuffly nose is linked to reflux. She seems to be sleeping better since we started it so hopefully it is helping her. She is hardly ever sick anymore so I was surprised that she thinks it is reflux not allergies but I guess time will tell. This mirror shot is one of my favourite of the week because I have a similar one of Little E (although she is a few weeks older). It is so sweet when they babble to themselves in the mirror! You can see in the two photos how similar they are, especially the hair. Little I is far chubbier though. Everyone wants to squeeze her hamster cheeks! She is so cute! I love that stage when they are learning to roll over. It seems like such a huge effort. Arlo would always grunt and groan as though it was a huge work out - which I guess it is for them! haha

What a little cutie! We have that playmat as well and it is such a hit with my baby girl. The funniest thing about them leaning to rollover is when they do it by accident and then look confused as to how they ended up on their stomach :)

I know you link up each week but every week she seems like she has mastered loads of skills and is growing up so quickly. I forget how fast they change at this age. it's lovely to watch. So adorable as always. Soon she will be crawling!!! lol Thanks for linking up to Share With Me. I really enjoy each week, excited to see what she will do next. #sharewithme

I really enjoyed these stages, something new each week to write down, you'll be pleased to know even at 3 Lil G still gives us those special moments. With regards to the reflux and gaviscon, if it's helping her sleep then I would stay with it but as someone who worked through severe gastric reflux with our little boy I have never heard it likened to a snuffly nose. Drs do still surprise me though, they all view things slightly different. Reflux is all about the food coming back up and burning, acid. Obviously your ear, nose and throat are connected but during the 15 months Lil G suffered this was never mentioned. The Gaviscon acts as a raft preventing the horrible acid from coming back up. Feel free to ask any questions about the reflux, if it becomes a worry. x
