We woke up to a snowy scene this morning. Little E was beside herself and was virtually in tears because we weren't moving fast enough (in her opinion) to help get her snowboots on! She roped Husband into making a snowman with her. Little I wandered around the garden a little confused at what was going on and refused to touch the snow!

My kids received so many toys this Christmas it was simply crazy. We had to buy new storage units to house it all in their rooms. It made me think a lot about how we use the space, especially Little I's room which is the smallest room. I'm tempted to go for a complete kids' bedroom redesign, thinking first about storage rather than trying to shoe horn it in as an afterthought. Here are my top kids storage ideas.
Modular storage units
Can you imagine your children wanting to keep their hands clean all the time? Even being excited to spend time washing them? It is such hard work to get Little E to remember to wash her hands after visiting the bathroom. Then Squid Soap arrived and I've got the opposite problem; I can't get her out of the bathroom!
I've always been super careful with my phones but since having the kids they have gotten seriously abused. I recently upgraded to an iPhone 6 and I managed to smash the screen AND the camera lense within a week of each other. So I decided it was time to armour up my case and the lovely people at Griffin sent me two of their Survivor range cases to try out.
I was sent the Survivor Summit (£34.99) and Survivor Journey (£24.99) cases to try out on my phone.
Happy New Year all! After nearly 2 weeks away from the blog I am back and ready to embrace 2016. The reason for my extended absence was our family holiday in France over Christmas - with no internet access at all! It was weird but strangely liberating plus Husband and I really needed some family time after a hectic work schedule at the end of 2015. We weren't alone in France - Husband's whole family were there with us. Then when we arrived home we had 3 days with my family celebrating all over again. Feels like a lifetime ago now not just a few days past! The highlights of course we're the kiddies - from decorating Christmas cakes, their faces when Santa visited on Christmas Eve to mounds of shredded wrapping paper and the endless amounts of toys! Christmas really is even more amazing now these two little monkeys share it with us.
