While I enjoy the odd G&T, I tend to opt for mainly alcohol-free these days, esspecially since struggling with long covid. With the rise of so many great non-alcoholic alternatives it is no surprise searches for ‘non-alcoholic drink alternatives’ are up by +100% in the past year.

Enter these three delicious mocktail recipes from Ocado, perfect for summer entertaining. And really what is better than a delicious, refreshing mocktail that doesn't leave you with a hangover the next day?

Alcohol-free Appletto Sour

This alcohol-free Appeletto Sour has the classic sour-style frothy top included, using apple juice and almond extract instead of Amaretto.

Ingredients
  • 120ml cloudy apple juice
  • 1 tbsp almond extract
  • 1 egg white (or use ¼ pack Oggs Aquafaba if vegan)
  • 2 cocktail cherries, to garnish
Method
  1. Fill a tumbler with ice and set aside.
  2. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, add the apple juice, almond extract and egg white, then shake for 20 secs. Strain into the tumbler; garnish with the cherries

Cherry Float Mocktail

This one is my Husband's favourite! Delivering the rich and sweet flavours of a classic British Bakewell Tart, this Cherry Float Mocktail uses cherry soda and almond syrup to give a big flavour finish.

Ingredients:
  • 200g frozen pitted cherries
  • 2 x 330ml cans cherry soda (we used Dalston’s Cherry)
  • 50ml almond syrup (we used Giffard Orgeat Almond Syrup)
  • 4 scoops vanilla ice cream (optional)
  • 4 fresh cherries
Method:
  1. Put the frozen cherries, cherry soda and almond syrup into a blender with a large handful of ice; blitz until smooth.
  2. Serve in glasses with the vanilla ice cream and a cherry, if using.

Rooibos Mocktail

For a summery iced tea mocktail with a sweet honey aftertaste, this calming rooibos recipe is a great option to sit back and relax with.

Ingredients
  • 1 rooibos teabag
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 50ml water
  • 150ml tonic water
Method
  1. Infuse the teabag and honey in 50ml hot water for 10 mins.
  2. Strain into a glass of ice. Top with tonic and garnish with a clove-studded lemon wedge.

I hope you enjoy these delicious drinks on the terrace in the sunshine this summer! What's your favourite summer mocktail recipe?

I am a very happy woman with the help of Dr Krish Spiritual who helped me restore my relationship with my ex husband. My name is Agnes Smith and I am from Alaska, USA. I met Dr Krish Spiritual through a testimony online and I never thought I would have my ex husband back after 4 years of separation. After my contact with his email, he told me not to worry and I would really be happy as I am now. Trusting in his words was the right decision for me. After 2 days, my ex husband called me saying that he wants to return back to me and live with me forever and I was very shocked. This made me believe that Dr Krish is really a very great spiritual man. Today, I am very happy to write this testimony about him and want others to testify to his power as I am currently happy in my restored marriage. Don't waste time on that relationship problem. Contact Dr Krish Spiritual directly through his email at [email protected] to help you solve that relationship problems in your marriage
