There is no doubt that car ownership can provide many benefits, including convenience, independence, and freedom. But if your vehicle stolen there can be significant financial loss, as the true value of the car is usually not fully recovered, emotional distress at having your property taken without permission, and the hassle and aggravation that comes from sourcing alternative transportation, liaising with the police and dealing with insurance companies.
In recent years there has been an increase in car crime, particularly in relation to thefts of vehicles with keyless entry systems. This increase is driven by the rise of sophisticated relay attacks, where criminals use special equipment to amplify the signal from the key fob and unlock the car. Leading insurer Aviva claims drivers with keyless vehicles are twice as likely to make a claim for car theft than those with vehicle which are non-keyless. By following our simple tips to protect your car you can reduce the risk of theft and have peace of mind knowing your vehicle is secure.

In this digitally fueled time, taking care of your kids is crucial, especially when you are trying to make them tech-friendly while teaching them the actual value of using technology. However, it can be difficult to manage everything without compromising on their real mental growth.

Autumn is well and truly here and with it comes my nemesis - cold, wet school runs. We live about seven minutes walk from the school so it's pointless to drive when it is raining as you can't park close enough to the school to get any real benefit, so rain or shine we walk. And you'd be surpised how wet you can get during those 14 minutes out of the house!
One thing I've been thinking about (longing for) is a full length coat to cheat the cold, wet weather, so when Lands' End got in touch about reviewing an item from their range of coats and jackets it was a sign my days of dreading the cold, wet school runs were over. Home insurance protects you if something happens to your home or its contents, so it is an important safeguard to have in place - but it comes with a substantial price tag. With the cost of living spiralling wildly it is more important than ever to make sure you are getting the best deal on your home insurance policy.
Here's some suggestions on how you can cut the costs of your home insurance renewal: Covering up your skin problems with makeup is never 100 percent effective. You’d far rather have natural complexion that glows with health, and makeup as an extra. You’re on the right track! After I was diagnosed with rosacea earlier this year I began to focus more on my skin care routine and less on make up. Start with your basic, twice-daily skincare routine and make it a habit. But there’s more you can do to keep your skin looking fresh and radiant. Try these tips to max out your results.
September has arrived and with it the rain! More time to be spent curled up in front of the TV enjoying our favourite shows and movies. Here's a round up of what I've been watching over the summer...
