A fun packed month for the threenager... Little E has been: learning guitar Well, kinda! Uncle Stupots gave her her first lesson on a mandolin. She loved it and was mesmerised for half an hour. They learnt a chord and they strummed away, singing a made up tune. It was all I heard in the car on the way home! Little E has been: splashing in the paddling pool The weather has demanded this! All games are taken into the pool be it pretending to be a lion, having a tea party or playing mummy. The pool was an absolute bargain at £10 from Tesco. Last year's sun suit still fits so we are getting another summer out of that. Little B has the same pool so they have enjoyed splashing together at their respective houses - and taking a rest with chairs in the water. Happy days. Little E has been: sculpting with Grandad My Dad is an artist and lately he's gotten into sculpture. Little E had a bash at making a dog which became a swan and then a monkey. She loved getting her hands dirty. A step up from play dough! Little E has been: frolicking at the fair Quickest eay to spend £30 in half an hour? Take Little E to the fair. She loves ALL the rides. We loved watching her face on the Cars ride as she was flung around the corners but the fast scary worm rollercoaster which Mummy had to go on with her was announced as the favourite. Husband and I were in hysterics watching her on the mini dodgems. She had no idea what to do and when she finally worked out what the pedal did she locked the steering wheel on full and hit the power leaving her spinning around and around in circles in the middle of the rink! We had to control ourselves when she got off and applaud her efforts. Driving lessons will be fun in 14yrs time! It is a rare visit though due to the expense of the rides, £3 a go! And they only last a couple of minutes. 7 rides and some chips later we were skint! As you may have guessed I didn't take this shot, Bestie did. I've stolen it from her Facebook page so the quality is compromised but I absolutely love it. It is a shot from our trip to the lavender fields. You'll have to excuse my lack of makeup and bleary allergy eyes! We are off to a child free wedding today so hopefully I can get a shot with Husband in our glad rags for next week.
