I've got a full six months to update you on so hold tight for a bumper roundup of the best Netflix, Amazon Prime, Apple TV and Now TV (starting to think I have too many subscriptions...) I've been enjoying while we all spend a bit more time indoors!

The kids are FINALLY both back to school in a couple of weeks and now we know what they are and aren't allowed to take in with them we made our annual pilgrimage to Smiggle to chose some fun back to school essentials guaranteed to make the school run a little brighter.
It is Father's Day this weekend and my Dad is super hard to buy for. But he loves wine. Enter the Wine List. Now, I admit not a massive wine fan but my Dad is. In fact he's a proper wine lover. So the Wine List appeared in my inbox just at the right time to peak my interest - let's see what's on offer from the latest entry to the subscription box market.
My kids grew up watching Paw Patrol, Shimmer and Shine and Dora the Explorer (my eldest spent most of her younger years shouting 'Backpack! Backpack!') so it is safe to say Nickelodeon is a firm favourite in this household. How wonderful it would be if those shows could be brought to life... Enter Nickelodeon Adventure which has just opened at Lakeside, Thurrock. We were very lucky to be invited to celebrate at the launch event of this brand new play space along with our Paw Patrol obsessed nephew Little A.
It's the most wonderful time of the year... but it can also be one of the most stressful. If you have still got presents to buy let alone wrap check out my round up of unusual Christmas gifts for all the family guaranteed to produce smiles on Christmas morning.
It has been a little quiet on the blog lately as we are revamping our kitchen and dining room which turned into a much bigger project than we anticipated but the end is in sight and normal service is resuming soon! Here's a roundup of what we've been watching whilst living in one room surrounded by the contents of our downstairs (at one point I was watching TV through a tub chair).
Another month flies past and I have more TV and movie reviews to share with you including what I thought of the series finale of Line of Duty...
April is whizzing by so time to catch up with what I'm watching on TV (and at the cinema!) at the moment. Last month I introduced movies I have enjoyed over the past few weeks so check out my thoughts on the new Dumbo movie which hit the big screen last week.
Little E turned 8 last month and there was only one thing she wanted to do for her birthday: Go Ape.
We have a Go Ape centre close to us at Tilgate Park, Crawley and the Tree Top Junior course is suitable for children over 1 metre tall. E had chosen two of her school friends, two cousins and her little sister to join her on the course. For every two under 6yr olds one adult is required to participate. As Little I had just turned 5 Husband volunteered to join in the fun. You have to pay for parking at Tilgate Park so make sure you have change and allow plenty of time to find a space as it can be very busy at the weekends and during school holidays. To say Husband was a little excited when Jacamo asked if he'd like to review some clothes from their range would be an understatement! Here's what he thought of the online men's fashion retailer...
There are some wardrobe staples I enjoy wearing all year round, a comfy jumper, smart but slightly lairy shirts and a pair of smart casual shoes. I’m always looking for something different and fashion which subtly stands out from the crowd. Jacamo have a great selection of clothing, shoes and accessories and with sizes ranging from small through to 5XL they have clothes for larger men, smaller blokes and everyone in between. |
