 There hasn't been many glimpses of my life over the past few weeks as we've been super busy preparing for the big move. But the girls and I managed to take a break from packing on Friday night to do some baking.

 We had an amazing trip to Circus Wonderland who visit our local recreation ground each year and never disappoint. The show always changes and my favourite act this year was the trapeze. Amazing strength and grace.
 In amongst the chaos of packing for our move we paused to make my signature Carrot Cake Trifle (yes, it really is as good as it sounds) on Friday. The carrot cake was offcuts from my sister in law's wedding cake which I have in the freezer. The girls did a fab job of whisking up some cream cheese frosting to layer with the crumbled cake. Teamwork makes the dream work.
Linking up to #mysundayphoto  Husband has been away for a few days so it has just been me and these two crazy cats for the last days of the Summer holidays. We've really has a blast making the most of our Kidspass membership with lots of half price cinema trips and kids eat free meal deals. We've also been on a few road trips to visit my family before school starts and reality kicks back in.

 Up to London with Little I for first GOSH appointment. Hoping they can give us some answers to her ongoing immune system issues.
Linking up to #mysundayphoto  The end of half term is nigh. We've had a lovely week finished off with a few sunny days in France. But we woke up this morning hear yet more awful news from home. In a world full of senseless madness I'll hug these girls even tighter tonight.
