Little E had her first ever gymnastics competition today. She did so well. No medals this time but a great introduction to the competitive side of the sport (without any pressure!). Also important to see other girls and boys of all shapes and sizes rocking the trampette and tumble. Very positive body image message.

February is birthday season for me. My whole family within 5 days - seriously! So cake features lots in my photo roundup this month...
This little monkey turned 7 this week. Super proud of my biggest little one. Happy Birthday Little E.
I'm starting something new for 2018. A way to free some of my favourite photos from the past month from my phone. These are snaps I've caught on the hop and catalogue the highs and lows (and the normal bits in between) of the month. This ties in with my resolution to get more photos printed! I'm still undecided on the format so I'll be experimenting a little with how to display the pictures.
There hasn’t been much of these two on the blog lately. They have been loving our new home and the all the space we now have. It has made it easier for them to play together and I can see them growing closer by the day.
This weekend saw my Sister in Law turn 40 and I decorated her this very special cake as part of some fun celebrations up in town.
Last Sunday of 2017! Here we are at midnight. The Littlest crashed at 10:30 but Little E made it to the fireworks. Happy New Year all!
We moved house this week which was rather epic. A lot of mixed emotions flying around. Whilst I am super excited to me move to a bigger home saying goodbye to our old house which holds so many wonderful memories was difficult. We bought both our babies home to that house. The little room which was the nursery both times was the hardest room to close the door on. So I’ve decided to share a picture of our last meal together in the old house before I start making new memories in our new home.
These two have been thick as thieves this week. They are sharing a bedroom while we pack for our move which may have something to do with it. Lovely to see cuddles and laughter replacing the usual fighting and squabbling! They have grown up so much since our Summer holiday. Slow down life!
Linking up to #mysundayphoto Photography is a wonderful hobby. It’s accessible, a lot of fun, and can even lead to you exploring some parts of the world that you previously would never have dreamed of. Photography can lead to many career paths as well, but it’s also a great hobby that you can indulge in at almost any time of the day.
However, improving your photography can sometimes be a little difficult if you don’t have much practice or advice. Lessons can be relatively expensive and time-consuming, so they aren’t the ideal solution. But with a bit of work and these tips, you can easily improve your eye for photography. |
