This brightly coloured train toy moves along making noises and blowing bubbles from its chimney. The train rolls forward making chugging train noises, producing a vast and continuous plume of bubbles. It's almost cartoon like in appearance, capturing the imagination of children. This fantastic Bubble Train has been designed and built exclusively for Tobar and would make a lovely addition to any toy collection.

We had some lovely Autumn crafts delivered from Baker Ross this week and these extremely cute Hedgehog Pom Poms immediately caught Little E's eye.
Each kit includes a hedgehog foam template, card pom pom maker, self-adhesive foam noses, yarns (different colours in each kit), ribbon & wiggle-eyes.
You start by placing pom pom templates either side of the hedgehog. Then you tie on the yarns and loop them around the template over and over until you have no yarn left.
Once you have run out of yarn you slide scissors inside the loop and snip all the way around the yarn. Little E gave this a go. I think her face says it all...
When you have cut all the way around you slide some ribbon in to form a loop, remove the templates and your hedgehog is complete.
Now, this all sounds easy but Little E actually found looping the yarn through the hole and round really tricky. The kit says 5+yrs and that probably explains why she struggled a little as she is only 4. Despite needing a lot of help she loved the outcome and can't wait to give it to her Grandma for her birthday tomorrow.
This pack of 3 kits is only £3.75! Fantastic value. You can order here
This kit was sent for review as part of the Baker Ross Blogger programme but all opinions are my own.
I feel like I have been talking about this day forever and now it is finally here. And despite the long build up it came around far too soon. Not for Little E, she has been gagging to put on her uniform and get started all summer, but for me. My little girl is not so little anymore.
She ran into class barely throwing us a wave of goodbye. I am so proud of the super independent, kind person she has become but a little bit of me is sad for all that is in the past and, I'll admit it, envious that her teacher will be spending more time feeding that little personality than I will. I know this is all normal, the term 'bitter sweet' comes to mind but it doesn't make it any easier today. But I pushed away the tears as today was all about the smiles, skipping and smelling the flowers.
Good luck reaching for the stars Little E. You will be amazing, as always.
It is Little E's first day of school today. I am holding it together, just about...

Little I had her first day at nursery on Friday and proved what a confident, independent little thing she is. She wasn't too keen on the lentil and chickpea curry for lunch but then again I don't really blame her!

We've got into a rut of sausage rolls, pitta breads or scrambled eggs for lunch lately so I've been experimenting with some new ideas including wraps. I've always avoided wraps after eating one too many soggy pre-packaged varieties but I've come to realise they are a really versatile way to use up leftovers or give a classic lunch a new twist. Here's the recipe for pizza wrap style!
Mozzarella Pizza Wraps
Preparation time: 20 minutes Cooking time: 30 minutes Ingredients: 4 Mission Deli Mediterranean Wraps 4 tbsp olive oi 2 Finely chopped medium onions 2 x 400g tins chopped tomatoes in juice 2 Heaped tbsp tomato puree 1 Organic, preservative free, vegetable stock cube 4 tbsp red wine vinegar 2 tbsp castor sugar Salt Freshly milled black pepper 4 tbsp roughly chopped, fresh basil 6 Small mozzarella balls, cut into quarters Extra olive oil, optional Method: 1. Place the olive oil, onions, tomatoes, juice, tomato puree, stock cube, vinegar, sugar and a good seasoning with salt and pepper. 2. Bring to the boil, then simmer in a wide saucepan (this helps to stop spluttering) 3. Cook for 30 minutes, or until very thick and cooked, thicker the better, then cool. 4. Once cooled, add the sliced mozzarella, and chopped basil, you may want to add a little more oil to moisten. 5. Wrap in a Med wrap, in the normal way. 6. Wrap in cling film and chill well.
